BENTON, Mo. -- Beacon Health Center in Benton will be the site of the annual Back to School Health Fair on Thursday.
According to information provided by Beacon Health, the health fair is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. and will provide a one-stop location for area students to obtain physicals at a reduced rate, immunizations, dental and vision screenings and basic school supplies in anticipation of the coming school year.
This year's event includes health and safety activities and games for children. The Scott County Sheriff's office will provide iris scans for child safety, the North Scott County Ambulance District will have an ambulance to view and the Cape Girardeau County Department of Conservation will have a display.
At least one parent or guardian will need to accompany children, and parents are asked to bring immunization records if a student is to be vaccinated.
