The following children were chosen as winners in the boys division of the Baby Contest at the SEMO District Fair Wednesday. The girls division had been held earlier in the week.
Winners by division are:
Three to six months
Dalton Roy Duvall, son of Scott and Robynne Duvall of Perryville, Mo., first place; Jeffrey Long, son of Todd and Tina Long of Cape Girardeau; second place; Reiss Groves, son of Kala Garnett and Ryan Groves of Cape Girardeau, third place.
Six to nine months
Austin Sells, son of Bruce and Deanna Sells of Cape Girardeau, first place; Samuel Unnerstall, son of John and Summer Unnerstall of Sedgewickville, Mo., second place; Jonathan Friedrich, son of Becky and Shawn Friedrich of Jackson, Mo., third place.
Nine to 12 months
Tyler Hafford, son of Tony and Rhonda Hafford of Cape Girardeau, first place; Johnathan Niederkorn, son of John and Deanna Niederkorn of Scott City, Mo.; second place. Third place tie between Dillon Fluegge, son of Kevin and Suzanne Fluegge of Jackson and Gage Kranawetter, son of Rich and Robin Kranawetter of Altenburg, Mo.
12-15 months
Kameron Schaefer, son of Mike and Tina Schaefer of Gordonville, Mo., first place; Hunter McCann, son of Angela McCann of Morley, Mo., second place; Bradley Romack, son of Billy and Amy Romack of Cape Girardeau; third place.
15-18 months
Brayden Martin, son of Johnny and Kelly Martin of Jackson, Mo., first place; Mason Warren, son of Sonney and Marcia Warren in Cape Girardeau, second place; Brennan Miller, son of Kevin and Brenda Miller of Chaffee, Mo.
Parade winners
Winners in the SEMO District Fair parade competition were announced recently. The parade was held Monday night.
Jackson Senior High band won first in the large band competition. Woodland High School won first place in the small band division.
Kohlfeld Lawn chair Drill Team won the parade marshal's award.
