JACKSON William Elliott of Jackson recently attended a national sales and educational conference sponsored by Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) in Maui, Hawaii.

Elliott qualified to attend the conference for outstanding sales and service to AAL members during 1992. Elliott was also honored for achieving excellence in fraternal service, and attended special volunteer events during the conference.

Elliott is an associate of the Jack Hollingsworth Agency of AAL, Independence, Mo.

AAL provides Lutherans and their families with life insurance and retirement products.

Keith Monia, a local insurance and real-estate broker, has been listed as top producer with several insurance companies for 1992, having sold 249 policies during the 12-month period.

He has been named to the Director's Club with Life U.S.A. Insurance Co., with sales of more than $1 million. He also received the Regency Award from Bankers United Life Assurance Co., and he produced $74,635 in annual premiums for the United American Insurance Co.

Monia and his wife, Tammy, own and operate U.S.A. Multiline Insurance Agency Inc. He is a broker-salesman affiliated with Thomas L. Meyer Realty.

Norman Heuring, a salesman at Cape GMC Pontiac Inc., has qualified for Master Sales Guild honors in the Memphis zone.

Heuring and his wife, Dorothy, will attend the Master Sales Guild ceremony to be held at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis next month.

Three fitness instructors with Southeast Missouri Hospital's Fitness and Wellness Center have successfully completed an examination leading to American Council on Exercise certification.

Lisa Mirly and Sharon Walker, both of Jackson, and Eileen Oberle of Cape Girardeau join a list of ACE-certified professionals working with the Fitness and Wellness Center. Oberle is also a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The American Council on Exercise, with 18,000 members in 45 countries, is the world's largest professional organization for aerobics instructors, personal trainers, studio and club owners.

Southeast Missouri Hospital's fitness and wellness programs include nutrition education, fitness and exercise classes for all age groups and fitness levels, lifestyle modification programs, and corporate programs that help employees learn in their workplace about exercise, nutrition, weight control, smoking and stress.

Dayton and Doris Kincade were winners of a Curtis Mathes Compact Disc Player during a recent promotion by the Curtis Mathes Home Entertainment Center, 52 Plaza Way. The Kincades guessed the correct date that a giant snowpile in Town Plaza would melt.

Members of Gulliver's Travel Agency Inc.'s staff were recent guests of the Players Riverboat Casino at Metropolis, Ill.

Lynn Moll, Theresea Carr, Lisa Dunaway and Beverly Estes were guests for a buffet and tour of the riverboat casino.

Accompanying the Gulliver staff on the trip were David Moll, James Estes and Tonya Taylor.
