James Banken, parts manager for Van Matre Buick, won the 1990 Grand Travel Award from General Motors Parts Division. He and his wife, Mary Jane, toured Toronto, Canada on an all-expense paid trip. Banken exceeded parts sales, efficiency and training objectives set by GM. Competition was with other similar size GM dealers in the St. Louis sales zone.
