Authorities in Cape Girardeau County are searching for a man they say was involved in an armed robbery at Rhodes 101 in Fruitland Sunday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., a man entered the convenience store, showed a gun and demanded money, according to a deputy at the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department.
No one was injured, although the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. He was wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt, according to the sheriff's department.
The department encourages anyone with information on the crime to call 243-3551.
