AUTHOR TO TALK AT ZONTA EVENT

Second through 10th graders and their parents are invited to meet an award-winning children's author Saturday in Cape Girardeau.

The author, Vicki Grove, is scheduled Saturday at a Zonta Club event held in the second-floor classrooms of the Southeast Missouri Hospital Regional Cancer Center.

Grove, is the featured guest of Zonta's free program, "Literacy: The Key to Discovery."

Grove's books include "Good-Bye My Wishing Star," "Junglerama," "The Fastest Friend in the West" and "Rimwalkers."

Grove has a program prepared for the event entitled, "Unlocking Treasures with the 'Write' Key."

The event will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and refreshments will be served.
