CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Holocaust survivor Alicia Appleman-Jurman will present her account of the Nazi occupation of Europe during World War II at a lecture Monday at the University Center ballroom.
"Remembering the Holocaust" is sponsored by the Student Activities Council and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $1 for students and $2 for others.
Appleman-Jurman's parents, four brothers and other relatives were killed by the Germans and their collaborators during the war years. She survived by living in ghettos, forests and fields.
She is the author of the autobiography, "Alicia: My Story."
