Author to lead discussion at high school library

Newberry-winning author Richard Peck, author of "The River Between Us," will lead a discussion of his book at Central High School Library at 10 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Wednesday as part of the United We Read program. Peck will also lead an evening discussion of the book beginning at 7 p.m. at the library. Both discussions are free and open to the public. Chateau Girardeau will also hold a discussion of the book Thursday at 10 a.m. Joan Slaughter will be the discussion leader. The public is welcome. For more information call 334-0644.
