Author, professor, and talk show host Dr. Michael Eric Dyson will speak at Southeast Missouri State University's annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Jan. 21 in the Show Me Center. Dyson has written 16 books, including "April 4, 1968: Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Death and How It Changed America," "Holler if You Hear Me," and "Is Bill Cosby Right?" He teaches religion, English, and African American studies at Georgetown University, and he is an ordained minister and host of "The Michael Eric Dyson Show."
