Richie Tankersley Cusick, author of more than a dozen young adult thrillers, will talk to the Young Adult Summer RIF Club members about reading and writing thrillers, Tuesday, from 1-3 p.m.
Cusick will read from some of his works at the Hirsch Community Room, in the Cape Girardeau Public Library. Members of the club will received free autographed books for attending.
The Young Adult Summer Reading Is Fundamental Club, a program for sixth through ninth grade students, offers summer reading, fun and free books.
Young adults have their choice of where and when they wish to attend the weekly RIF Club:
Cape Girardeau Civic Center, 232 Broadway, Mondays 1-3 p.m., Wednesdays 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 335-7141;
East Missouri Action Agency, 1111 Linden, Mondays 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Wednesdays 1-3 p.m., 334-5533; and
Cape Girardeau Public Library, 711 N. Clark, Tuesdays 1-3 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
