The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Cape Girardeau County Park North Conservation Building.

The program will be in preparation for the Nov. 22 field trip to Horseshoe Lake. Ida Domazlicky, author of a recently published book on bald eagles, will lead the event.

Those leaving from Cape Girardeau should meet near the swimming pool at Capaha Park at 12:30 p.m., or meet at the ranger station just past Olive Branch, Ill., at 1 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the meeting and field trip.
