ATTENDANCE UP

PADUCAH, Ky. The Bluegrass Downs track here has shown an increase in attendance and handle for the recently completed Ellis Park thoroughbred meet.

General Manager Harold Weaver said that this is the fourth meet this year that has registered an increase over the same meet in 1990. The attendance figures showed an increase of 25 percent over 1990 and the handle was up 28 percent over the 1990 Ellis Park meet.

Bluegrass Downs is telecasting races from Turfway Park for the month of September. Live racing at Bluegrass Downs will be held Oct. 11-27.
