AT&T announced Tuesday that 4G LTE is now available to its Cape Girardeau customers.
In a news release, John Sondag, president of AT&T Missouri, said the company has seen the demand for mobile Internet "skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in Cape Girardeau responds to what customers want from their mobile experience ... ."
The news release also said the upgrade will bring faster speeds and response time, make more efficient use of the wireless spectrum and be compatible with a line of AT&T LTE-compatible devices, including smartphones and tablets.
