But Vandeven's influence doesn't end in the circle. She's also been a force at the plate. She went 11-for-12 and knocked in nine runs in her team's last three games.

Vandeven has collected at least three hits in six of her team's 10 games. She's had multiple hits in seven of the 10.

Vandeven helped her team to the title at the Oak Ridge tournament, where it downed Meadow Heights 17-1 in the championship game.
