The Southeast Missourian asked students at Jackson Middle School about their special Christmas tree decorations.

Matt Gordon: "One of my favorites is an ornament I made in preschool with a smashed soda can. It is spray-painted with a face on it. The mouth is the opening."

Sam Gregg: "It's a milk carton ornament that I made in first grade. It's a little Santa Claus decoration with a hat on it."

Charles Flint: "It will be a web I made with different colors in fifth grade. It's made out of orange, blue and white yarn and sticks about the size of your hand."
