The Southeast Missourian asked people at R.O. Hawkins Junior High School what they thought about Superman's marriage to Lois Lane last week.
Steve Lukens: "Since I've secretly had a desire about Lois Lane for years, I'm insanely jealous over it. For the comic strip, I only see expansion. I heard they had their house checked out for Kryptonite."
Julie Goetz: "I think it's about time. It took them long enough. I don't think the comic strip will change that much, because Lois Lane has always been important. It would be cool to be Mrs. Superman."
Aaron Morgan: "It will be great when they have kids that can lift up trucks. It will be good when they grow up. The world should have eight super children so Superman doesn't have to do everything himself."
Staci Illers: "I think he needed a wife because women know everything and men don't, and he needed help with that. The world will be a better place because she will tell him what to do, and he will do it."
Clint Ressel: "I think it's great. I think it will be a drastic change for the comic strip, because normally superheroes don't get married. The comic strip might get more popular because of it."
