ASK JACKSON

The Southeast Missourian asked children at Orchard Drive Elementary School for suggestions in naming the Jackson Police Department's new drug dog.

Blake Ulrich:

"Thunder, because it could find drugs very fast."

Casey Nicholas:

"Sniffer, because he sniffs out drugs."

Leah Warren:

"Barker, because he barks when he smells drugs."

Aaron Redecker:

"Buster, because he busted the bad guys when he finds drugs any place."

Matt Hart:

"Narco, because when somebody 'narcs,' they tell on somebody. When the dog finds drugs, he will tell on the bad guys."
