The Southeast Missourian asked people what they thought of the new Jackson City Hall.
Leonard Sander: "I like the location of the building and the amount of space. It meets all the needs of the city, and it was an opportunity that I didn't think we would ever have."
Terri Tomlin: "I like the modern, up-to-date appearance, and I appreciate the handicap accessibility to the city hall and the library. While the library will be on two floors, it will be a modern facility."
Janet Hitt: "It's bright and spacious with large offices and several conference rooms. I like the idea of having community rooms, too."
Janet Piepenbrok: "It's massive. We're really fortunate to have something like this for a city our size. It's decorated beautifully."
Jim Nelson: "It's a vast improvement over what the community had before. It's a modern facility. You will be better able to see a person there and not be jammed together."
