The Southeast Missourian asked people if moving the Jackson City Library in April to the new City Hall is the permanent solution to the voters rejecting its merger with the Riverside Regional Library.

Lisa Manning: "I think the library issue will come back. We need a bigger library in Jackson."

Darlene Bullinger: "I hope it's been put to rest. I enjoy having two libraries. I use both of them."

Dolores Myer: "It's good to have two libraries. I use the regional library because it's closer to where I live."

Keith Lemons: "I think the issue should be brought forward again. Jackson is growing, and I think we need a larger library in a new building.

Kari Hayden: "I feel we should have one big library. It would be more convenient. I use both of them now, but sometimes it's a hassle."
