The Southeast Missourian asked students at West Lane Elementary School what they would ask the president if they had the chance to meet him.
Melanie Essner: "I would ask him how he liked living in the White House and about his pets. Also, I would ask if he had to make a lot of tough decisions."
Justin Leadbetter: "I would ask him what sports he likes to see and what he has played. I would also ask what he liked to do in his spare time."
Natalie Smith: "I would like to ask the president how much work he takes home with him after a day being president."
Chad Minson: "I would like to know about some of the trips he has made as president. I would also ask him something about golf, and if he's ever made a hole-in-one."
Brandon Dietiker: "I would ask him how hard it is to travel around the world as president. Also, I would ask how many rooms are in the White House and how many rooms his family uses."
