The Southeast Missourian asked students at St. Paul Lutheran School if they would want to fly around the world in a balloon.
Tyler Holman: "I would not want to do that. Those men fell out, and I would not want that to happen to me. I would rather stay on the ground and be a mechanic."
Derek Blankenship: "I think it would be fun. You get to sit in this little capsule and navigate your balloon. I don't think I would look down."
Gregielle Smith: "I would like it. It would be exciting. I would miss being with people, so I would take some stuffed animals and maybe talk to my mom and dad on the radio."
Bryan Sladek: "I think it would be pretty neat. I would make history and make a lot of money. I would rather go with someone and share the money."
Ashley Clevenz: "I would be interested in that. I would take plenty of food and a camera. I've been to Georgia, so I would be a lot farther from home."
