The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri is seeking artists interested in being considered for school programs, summer classes, commissioned works, gallery shows, guest performances and other opportunities, to be included in a regional Artists Registry compiled and distributed by the Arts Council.
The Registry will include Visual and Performing Artists, including those who create with Visual Art, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Theatre, Creative Writing, Traditional Crafts, Fibre Arts, Photography, Sculpture, Pottery, Story-Telling, Dance, and any other creative endeavor that may be shared with the community.
Artists will be asked to complete a brief form describing their area of expertise, experience and demonstration needs. The information will be compiled by the Arts Council and made available to area schools, libraries, organizations and anyone else searching for an artist.
Forms are available through the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, PO Box 901, Cape Girardeau, MO, 63702-0901, or by calling 314-334-9233. The Artists Registry and Arts Council of Southeast Missouri receive financial assistance from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
