Last year's bad weather may have discouraged some people from registering for this year's festival, Thurman said.

Capaha Capers, a children's arts festival, will be held as scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the park.

Thurman said the Arts and Crafts Festival will be held next year, though it may be moved indoors.
