The Annual Student Juried Art Assessment Exhibition is now on display at the University Museum. More than 200 works of art by 100 students were entered, and 44 were chosen to be exhibited. Tess Irvin's watercolor "Wap Weekend" was judged best of show by juror Robin Brown, chairwoman of the Department of Art and Design at SIU-Edwardsville.

Honorable mention awards were given to Noriko Yuasa for "An Old Man," Michelle Buehler for "Corinthian Continuum," Juli Aldredge for "Praying Mantis" and Robert Friedrich for a work of fiber art titled "Harvest."

The show will remain at the gallery through April 28. Some of the works are for sale.
