The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri is seeking nominations for its annual Otto F. Dingeldein Award for achievement and excellence in the arts.

To nominate a candidate, you must write a letter to the Arts Council board of directors describing the candidate's activities and impact on community enrichment. Persons or groups previously nominated can be nominated again since only one award is given per year. There is no age or geographic restrictions on nominations.

Nominations forms are available and must be submitted by Sept. 1. The award, which was established in 1975 to honor people who make an impact on the cultural enrichment of the community, will be presented at the council's October meeting.
