The children's art exhibit "Art Attack" will open Monday and continue through Friday at Gallery 100.
The art was created during weekly summer workshops taught by Brenda Seyer, Elizabeth Thomas, Judy Barks-Westrich and Susan Gosche.
Students were invited to exhibit their favorite works at the gallery as a culmination of their experience.
Of the 167 students who participated in "Art Attack," 123 were from Cape Girardeau. The remainder were from Advance, Benton, Mo., Kelso, Oak Ridge, Pocahontas, Scott City, Jackson and Benton, Texas.
The workshops were sponsored by the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri.
A closing reception and pick-up of the artwork will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the gallery.
The gallery is located at 6 N. Sprigg St. and is open from 1 to 4 p.m. weekdays.
