CHARLESTON, Mo. -- One person has been arrested in connection to a weekend shooting that left five people wounded in a Mississippi County nightclub, police said.
Cpt. Robert Hearnes, with the Charleston Department of Public Safety, could not offer additional information Monday about the arrest.
He said his agency was called to Lil' Bro's Nightclub shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday.
Oficers found three men and two women suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
"Apparently, at least one subject started firing a gun inside the nightclub," he said.
Hearnes said when officers arrived, the parking lot was packed with an unruly crowd of about 150 to 200 people.
Four arrests were made Saturday for rioting and refusing to disperse.
