SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Department of Public Safety arrested a local man for allegedly shooting four people inside a local bar, according to a news release.
About 12:30 a.m. Saturday, the department received a call of shots fired at Cronies Bar, 1637 E. Malone Ave. in Sikeston, the news release said.
Police found two subjects with gunshot wounds, and soon found two more. According to the news release, witnesses said a person came up to one of the victims, pointed a handgun at him, and shot three to four times at him as he stood near several bar patrons.
Injuries to the victims -- two men and two women, all from Sikeston -- were not life-threatening, according to the news release.
Witnesses and victims identified the shooter as Antonio Marcel Flenoid, 32, of Sikeston, the news release said. It said officers believed an ongoing feud between Flenoid and one of the victims led to the shooting.
Flenoid was found and arrested at a Sikeston residence at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, the release said. He was charged with four counts of first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
Flenoid remains in custody awaiting his arraignment, and he is held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
