BENTON, Mo. -- A Sikeston man will face first degree murder and other related charges for the May 2 stabbing death of his estranged girlfriend following his preliminary hearing Wednesday before Associate Circuit Court Judge David Mann.
Percy Edgar Johnson, 34, is charged with first degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, first degree assault and felonious restraint for the death of Mary Rudd, also of Sikeston.
His arraignment is set for July 10 in the Scott County Circuit Court.
Johnson remains in custody at the Scott County Jail without bond.
