AREA STUDENT WILL ATTEND WORLD AFFAIRS SEMINAR

Josh Berens, a junior at Notre Dame High School, has been selected to attend the World Affairs Seminar in Whitewater, Wisc., in June.

Selection is based on high academic achievement and the student's interest in international issues. He is sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Rotary Club.

At Notre Dame, Berens has played on soccer and basketball teams. He is also a member of Future Business Leaders of America and is involved in the school's spring musical. He is the son of Paul and Carol Berens.

The World Affairs Seminar is a personalized educational program for high school students. It is designed to help students learn about the customs, traditions, aspirations, and heritage of people around the world through personal association.
