Keeping classrooms safe and motivating students to attend school will be discussed tonight during the Region 13 meeting of the Missouri School Boards Association.
More than 30 school districts will be represented when school board members from Southeast Missouri gather at Nell Holcomb School at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting is part of a series of gatherings around the state. Attorneys for MSBA will discuss the Missouri Safe Schools Act with school board members and answer questions about how to apply the legislation. Other topics include a discussion on the new platform of the MSBA and how to keep parents and students motivated to boost school attendance.
