AREA REALTOR ELECTED MAR STATE OFFICER

Thomas M. Meyer has been elected state treasurer of the Missouri Association of Realtors.

Meyer, of Thomas L. Meyer Realty & Insurance, 230 N. Sprigg, and his wife, Mary E. Meyer, attended the annual MAR Convention, held at Lake of the Ozarks recently.

Meyer is the first state office from the Southeast Missouri since his father, Thomas L. Meyer, served as president in 1968.

Also attending the convention were Thomas L. Meyer and his wife, Helen Meyer; Martha Hamilton and Mike Wandrick of Key Realty; and Herb and Thelma Annis, Gary Turner, and Dale Wolfenkoehler of Ashland Realty.

More than 1,000 members attended the session, which provided several seminars concerning the realty industry.
