The St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary and St. Francis Foundation are seeking applicants for several nursing and allied health care scholarships.
They will be awarded to students for the 1991-'92 academic year.
To be eligible for the scholarships, a candidate must make formal application and must be interviewed by the hospital's Scholarship Selection Committee. Candidates must also be willing to sign a service contract agreeing to work at least one year on a full- or part-time basis as a health care professional at St. Francis.
Among the scholarships available are:
Nursing scholarships funded through the Sisters of St. Francis Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund.
A nursing scholarship from the St. Francis Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
A health care scholarship funded through the Dr. Raymond A. and Lillian K. Ritter Scholarship Fund.
A nursing scholarship from the Dr. Mark F. Scully Scholarship Fund.
A respiratory therapy or nursing scholarship funded through the Huttegger/Scherer Scholarship Fund.
Anyone applying for one or more of these scholarships must submit an application and various supporting materials to Connie Laurentius in the St. Francis administrative offices no later than Monday, May 20.
