Author, editor and archivist David Jackson will receive the 2003-2004 Arthur H. Mattingly Award in Historic Preservation.
The award is presented annually to a graduate of the historic preservation program at Southeast Missouri State University who has been working successfully in a professional position for at least five years and exemplifies the ideals of the program.
The award will be presented at a banquet at Port Cape Girardeau on May 1.
Jackson graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in historic preservation from Southeast in 1993.
