APE STUDENT RECEIVES SEMO REGENT'S SCHOLARSHIP

Alison L. Nall has been awarded a Regent's Scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University.

She also has been awarded $1,500 department-of-music and $1,000 Ewing scholarships.

Nall, daughter of Bruce and Susie Nall of Cape Girardeau, is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. She was in the upper 5 percent of her graduating class. She received four I-ratings at state music contests, which included voice and piano solos. She was also an alternate in the All-State Choir and an oboist in the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band.

Nall was a member of the National Honor Society, Thespian Society, Drama Club and the marching, concert and jazz bands. She was president of the chamber choir and captain of the flag corps for two years.
