Annwood Estates subdivision in Jackson under boil order

Jackson issued a precautionary boil-water order Thursday for all residents of Annwood Estates subdivision due to a water main break on Brittany Drive.

A main line broke at about 3 p.m. and repairs are underway, public works director Rodney Bollinger said in a news release.

The boil-water order includes properties on Brittany Drive, Leming Lane, Dana Drive and Nicole Lane. Unless residents are otherwise notified, the precautionary order will expire at 3 p.m. Saturday. The order includes instructions to boil water for three minutes and to dispose of ice made with an automatic icemaker.
