Contestants in the teen division will compete for a chance to go to the National America's Southern Teen Pageant in Shreveport, La. They will compete in four phases of competition: private interview (25 percent), runway and fashion modeling (25 percent), swimsuit (25 percent), and evening gown (25 percent). Winners will be awarded in each category, along with a community service winner. A queen and four alternates will be chosen.

Queen prizes include an official America's Southern Teen Crown, banner, scepter, custom-designed crown ring, pin, and necklace, $750 entry fee paid to the national pageant, $1,500 worth of personal image, interview, and modeling training from Glamour Productions, $100 Savings Bond, official Show-Me State Teen Photo Shoot & Portrait, compliments of Pat Patterson Photography, wardrobe certificates, department store certificates, and more.

Local titles are given to each contestant, so she can represent her city or area, and will also be featured with her local title in our state program book. A percentage of the proceeds will go toward the Southeast Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross. Admission for Friday and Saturday evening will be $5, with doors opening at 6:30. The Holiday Inn will serve as this year's host hotel, offering discounts to contestants and their families.

The deadline to enter is Feb. 15 to be included in the program book, and Feb. 23 as the Final deadline.

Entry forms maybe picked up at the Style Stop Impact and Prompt Care in Jackson, or by contacting Glamour Productions at: 2625 Old Cape Road, Jackson, MO 63755; (573) 243-1953; or glamour productions@yahoo.com.
