DEXTER -- All the fun, excitement and adventure await folks next week as the 72nd Annual Stoddard County Fair comes to town.
The annual fair will receive a roaring start Tuesday evening with the annual fair parade, featuring bands galore, beautiful queens, splendid floats and something for just about the whole family.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., at the intersection of Catalpa and Stoddard streets and progressing east on Stoddard.
Those needing additional information concerning the parade should contact fair parade chairman Pam Dowdy at 624-5854.
Later Tuesday the midway will open on the Fairgrounds and the Miss Stoddard County Fair Queen Contest will be held beginning at 7 p.m. in Arena B.
All entries for exhibition (with the exception of livestock) will be accepted for judging on Sunday afternoon from 1 until 5 p.m.
