The city of Jackson's annual Concrete Street and Sidewalk Repair Project is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Monday. The city of Jackson's annual Concrete Street and Sidewalk Repair Project is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Monday.

According to a news release issued by Erica Bogenpohl, staff engineer for the city of Jackson, roadway improvements will include more than 3,500 square yards of concrete along the following Jackson routes: East Main Street, Old Cape Road, Lexington Drive, Sappington Drive, Cathy Drive, Carolyn Drive, Odus Drive, Wedgewood Drive, Palmer Drive, Watson Drive, St. Andrews Drive, Old Hickory Drive and St. Andrews Court.

Roads will be restricted to one-lane traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while the work is being performed. Signs will be posted notifying motorists of work in these areas, and the public is asked to restrict use to local traffic only, the release said.
