Minimal and early-stage breast cancer will be one of several topics highlighting the 1993 Fall Cancer Symposium, sponsored by the Southeast Missouri Regional Cancer Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The symposium will also focus on thyroid cancer, early detection of cervical cancer, chronic and acute pain management, skin cancer, prostate cancer, the Hospice concept of care and cancer risk assessment.

The symposium will be held all day Oct. 30 and the morning of Oct. 31 at the Show Me Center. Designed for primary care physicians, the annual conference will feature formal presentations, panel discussions and informal round-table discussions.
