ANNA WOMAN DIES IN FIRE AT HER HOME

ANNA, Ill. -- A 36-year-old woman died early Saturday morning in a fire at her Anna home.

Joyce Trexler Rains was the only death in a fire that swept through her residence at 101 Douglas around 4:26 a.m. She was the only one at home at the time of the fire, Anna Fire Department reported.

When Anna firefighters reached the scene, the house was fully involved, the fire department reported. Rescue workers fought the blaze for four hours.

Fire investigators are awaiting results of tests before making a determination on the cause and origin of the fire.
