Animal Welfare Alliance to be at Poplar Bluff Animal Shelter every Saturday to help with adoptions

Poplar Bluff, Mo. -- Volunteers from the Animal Welfare Alliance will staff the Poplar Bluff Animal Shelter from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday to process dog and cat adoptions. The shelter is on Butler Street, behind Blackwell-Baldwin Ford, off Westwood Boulevard in Poplar Bluff. The shelter's usual hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Alliance staff will not be present on holiday weekends.
