Adam Andrews of Scott City has been selected to attend the Sophomore Pilgrimage in Jefferson City later this month.
The pilgrimage will be held April 8 and 9 and includes tours of the highway patrol safety center, the Governor's Mansion, and observing a session of the legislature.
Andrews, a tenth-grade student at Scott City High School, is the son of Pat Andrews of Scott City and Robert Andrews of Cape Girardeau.
Students are chosen for the pilgrimage based on leadership, service, citizenship and scholastic standing. Andrews also participated in the Hugh O'Brien Leadership Forum in St. Louis earlier this year.
