American Legion Post 158 has begun a new program honoring music students at Jackson High School.
The post is giving a $100 United States savings bond each month to the student selected.
Students selected this year are Seth Webb, Mark E. King and Jamie Becker.
Webb, son of Mike Webb and Diana Green, is active in Speech Club, Debate Club, Just Say No, YES and Hi-Step. He attends First Presbyterian Church.
King, the son of Mitchell Delph, is active in Jackson Acting Motivators, SADD, Drama Club, Jazz Band, serving as president, and in All District Band for four years. He participates in his church band and the youth group.
Becker, the daughter of James and Judy Becker, is active in French Club, track, Pep Club, Pep Band, Marching Band and was selected to All District Band and Choir. She attends Wesley United Methodist Church where she is the church pianist.
