Amateur photography contest begins

Grab your cameras and start flipping through your photo albums.

The annual Foto Fest contest, sponsored by the Southeast Missourian and Westfield Shoppingtown West Part, has already started. Submissions for the first week of the contest will be taken through July 16.

Judges' decisions will be announced in the Southeast Missourian the following Wednesday.

Only amateur photographers from Cape Girardeau, New Madrid, Bollinger, Scott, Stoddard, Perry, and Madison counties in Missouri and Alexander, Pulaski, and Union counties in Illinois may enter. A complete list of official rules is posted at all drop-off sites.

Entries can be dropped off at the customer service center in Westfield Shoppingtown West Park and at the Southeast Missourian offices in Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Chaffee and Marble Hill.
