The Community College Scholarship is a renewable award of $1,000 for the academic year, up to a maximum of four semesters, for students transferring from a community college to the university.

To be eligible, students must hold a 3.5 grade point average with 24 transferable credit hours.

Allen is the son of Terry and Janet Jones of Fulton, Ky., and is a 1993 graduate of Christian Faith Academy in Cape Girardeau. He plans to major in pre-engineering at Southeast.
