Alleged bomb threat leads to Kennett, Mo., man's arrest at Wal-Mart store

KENNETT, Mo. -- On Wednesday a Kennett man was arrested on suspicion of making terroristic threats at the local Wal-Mart, according to the Daily Dunklin Democrat. Store personnel told police that a man came into the store and became angry with them. They said that as a result of the anger, the individual stated he was going to blow the store up. Following the threat, Kennett Police Department patrolman Philip Caldwell located the suspect, a 23-year-old Kennett resident, according to the police report. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of making terroristic threats and taken to the Dunklin County Jail, pending the filing of formal charges, according to the Kennett Police Department.
