JACKSON -- All Clubs Day was held March 27 at Delmonico's. The devotional was given by Capaha Club, and a group sing was led by Progressive Club.
Roll call was describing an heirloom and telling from whom it was received.
Mary Gosche, extension club consultant, gave an update on state projects.
The business session was conducted by Margie Reisenbichler. It was voted to sponsor a Red Cross Blood Drive.
Morning programs were "Gardening" by Dorotha Strack of Sunny Hill Garden Center in Cape Girardeau, and Judy Sanders of Judy's in Jackson.
Agnes Wachter conducted the afternoon session.
Mel Zielinski presented the afternoon program on Japan. He is agronomy specialist with the University Extension Office.
Those receiving membership recognition pins are:
40 years -- Erna Meyer of Oak Grove Club; 35 years -- Mary Masters of Capaha, Verla Mangels of Lamplighters, Opal Klaproth of Oak Grove, Margie Swan, member at large; 30 years -- Billie Criddle of Oak Ridge, Ellen Lorberb of Progressive, Dorothy Hahs, Bert Seyer and Gayla Volz of Lamplighters; 25 years -- Barbara Schaffner of Kage; 20 years -- Mel Floyd of Oak Ridge.
A memorial for deceased members was given by Dorothy Strack.
Northernaires Club won the attendance award, and Town and Country was chosen Outstanding Club of the Year.
All were encourged to attend the district meeting April 27 at Delmonico's.
