A two-vehicle accident on Thursday left one man dead and two people injured in Alexander County, Ill.

The name of the driver in the first vehicle was not released pending notification of family. In the second vehicle, driver Andrew R. Beasley, 18, of Thebes, Ill., and an unknown female passenger received minor injuries and were taken to Saint Francis Medical Center.

The accident reportedly occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Route 3 at Cypress Drive in Olive Branch, Ill. No arrests were made.

According to the Illinois State Police, the first vehicle was stopped in the middle of the roadway across the southbound lane. Beasley's truck struck the passenger side of the vehicle, which rolled off the roadway and came to a stop on its passenger side. No arrests were made.
