A live, satellite video conference on AIDS will be held Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau County Extension Office, 815 S. Hope, in Jackson.
The program will discuss HIV prevention strategies for rural areas. It will also describe the functions of the Rural Center for the Study and Promotion of HIV/STD Prevention.
The conference originates at Purdue University. It is directed at community educators and public health officials. Registration is free but participants should call 243-3581 for materials.
